Stages of Work
This doesn't change over time the only thing that changes is how much clay is on the floor or the shelf and did I mop up today. I have moved out of this space and will be making a new one. But the images of the work are still applicable.
Green Ware (Fresh)
The clay is worked into the shape I want on the wheel or the wedging
table.

Wet Shelf

Bisque Ware Fired once 1050? C (1946? F)
The shape is set, it can last for years in this state.
It is like a rock sponge, and that is how glaze will attach in the
glazing stage.

Glazing the work
Here I glaze the work and get it ready for the kiln

Glazed fired 1190? C (2156? F)
Here is where all the firing will happen. My Skutt Kiln
with this size kiln (9.9 Cu/ft) I will be able to make the size work
that I love.

The finished work
The glaze is on and I like it, it will be on display in the studio.

The glaze is on and I don't like it, it will be removed
